New tax due date for LLC and Corp in 2017

If you are a LLC owner, please be aware of the new due date of 2016 LLC tax return. It is effective in 2017 filing season.

Instead of filing by Apr 15, 2017 with extension to Sep 15, 2017, IRS now pushes the due date to Mar 15, 2017. Be sure to close your books timely.

On the other hand, your C-corporation filing due date will be changed from Mar 15 to April 15, 2017. S-corporation’s filing due date remains unchanged (March 15, 2017).
